An award that comes from the heart. This week, the association Les Déterminés won the "Coup de Coeur" award from Europe 1's listeners and web users as part of the Trophées de l'avenir. For this fifth edition, as every year, several companies and associations that make France move and shine were rewarded for their work and commitment.
After two weeks of voting, the verdict is in: with 50% of the votes out of more than 12,000 voters, the association Les Déterminés was chosen as the listeners' favorite among three other organizations in the running. An honor and a pride for the whole team.
"A great honor"
During a sober and solemn ceremony, our president Moussa Camara was able to receive the trophy, this Wednesday, from Constance Benqué, general manager of the "news" division of the Lagardère group and vice-president of Europe 1 and Alexandre Mars.
"It's a huge honor. It's the prize of the public, of the listeners. It touches us enormously. It's a collective effort, a reward for the work we've been doing for six years with our entrepreneurs, partners and all those who support us on a daily basis.
In our case, the idea is to say that we have to break down the doors. Inequality is real. But we are in a country where there is a lot of potential and energy with young people who want to, no matter where they come from. We must allow them to cross these bridges. The objective for us is to be able to bring people together around an economic project because we are convinced that the economy can be a powerful lever of inclusion for all," said Moussa Camara to the presenters on stage.
"I dedicate this trophy to all Determined contractors and the entire team."

After this moment of exchange, Moussa Camara was invited yesterday on the program La France Bouge by Elisabeth Assayag and Emmanuel Duteil. He came back on the leitmotiv and the objectives of the association, while recalling some key figures and ending by thanking the whole team of the Determined:
"The team, our entire network, and the entire community... everyone came together to vote. But beyond that it's a project that makes sense and speaks to people.
To undertake, determination is not enough. You have to want to and believe in your project and in yourself. Then there is a whole range of support, tools that are put in place and follow-up that makes the difference. 80% of the companies we support still exist three years later because there is support, because they are not alone.
The entrepreneurial adventure is very demanding, sometimes involving personal investments and sacrifices.
"Our objective is to bring the economic world closer to young people who want to be entrepreneurs and to ensure that they can succeed under the right conditions.
In 2020, we received more than 1,000 applications from project leaders and we accompanied more than 200 of them. In five and a half years of existence, we have sensitized more than 3,500 people and trained more than 450.
Today, 80% of the companies that came through us are still alive after the crisis."
